Guerlain
Guerlain is a French perfume house with 175 years of outstanding business, passion, and tradition. Guerlain has always used luxurious and rare materials for its perfumes, such as French vanilla or ylang-ylang.
One of the oldest brands in France, Guerlain has been a pioneer in terms of synthetic materials. They introduced coumarin -, a synthetic ingredient- in 1906. Many traditional Guerlain fragrances are characterized by a common olfactory accord known as the "Guerlinade".
Guerlain's fragrance house was founded in Paris, France in 1828 by Pierre-François Pascal. They were run by the Guerlain family until 1994 when they were bought by LVMH as a subsidiary company.
